Finally this long Winter Campaign is finally over. Today was election day in Canada, and we finally see the fall of the Liberal Government!

Today, January 23rd, 2006 Stephen Harper takes over as the 22nd Prime Minister of Canada. The Conservative Party of Canada completely dominated Alberta taking 100 per cent of the seats there. In British Columbia the Conservative Party lost a few seats to the NDP.

First off this is a great day for Western Canada. We finally get some power to the West. Also Paul Martin, the former Prime Minister of Canada (2003-2006) has finally been defeated and has resigned from the Liberal Party Leader.

The NDP did surprisingly well in British Columbia, an estimate of 35 per cent of their seats in Parliament come from the Province of British Columbia.

There is 308 seats in our Canadian Parliament and this is how it stands...

Conservative: 124
Liberal: 103
Bloc Québécois: 51
New Democratic Party: 29
Independent: 1

A lot of you probably saw the Vancouver Canucks vs. Montreal Canadiens. What a game that was. In the first period the Vancouver Canucks scored six back to back goals, and the Montreal Canadiens didn't get any that period. First Period 6-0 Vancouver. The Second Period the Montreal Canadiens scored once, and same with the Third. Unfortunately the Vancouver Canucks didn't score anymore goals after the First. Although the Vancouver Canucks did tie a the club record for six goals in one period. The final score was 6-2 Vancouver Canucks.

Also today the Ottawa Senators owned the Toronto Maple Leafs. Ottawa played well out shooting Toronto. The final score of this game was 7-0 Ottawa Senators.

The Calgary Flames played the Buffalo Sabres today. Calgary easily won this game 4-1 Final.

Edmonton on the other hand had a harder game to play against the Phoenix Coyotes. It was a pretty tight game. Phoenix scored in the final minutes of the Third forcing the game to go to OT. In OT neither teams scored making it a Shoot Out. Phoenix won this game 4-3.

Frick ya'll Albertans! Finally the Vancouver Canucks have won against an Albertan team in NHL. What a burn, it really looked like the Calgary Flames were going to win it at the end of the third, but we came back scored six on three. Then we score in OT! Whoot! Anyways the final score in this great game was 4-3 Canucks.

Also it was pretty sweet how both Albertan teams lost today. Toronto beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-3.

Hopefully now the Vancouver Canucks have gained a lot of esteem from this game and move on and beat the Edmonton Oilers on February 4th, 2006. And hopefully yet again we can beat the Calgary Flamers on February 3rd, 2006.

The Canucks next game will be at Generals Motors Place on January 10th, 2006 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. If they couldn't beat Calgary, then we can beat them.

Canada wins the gold metal in Junior Hockey in Canada! Yesterday was such a great day for Canadians! We beat Russia, you should have seen the looks on their face when they lost 5-0 against Canada. It was hilarious. The crowd was spectacular at Generals Motors Place in Vancouver, BC! Unfortunately I couldn't be there, but still watching it on TV in the same city was good enough.

In NHL news now, Canucks FINALLY win a game! Canucks have had just a crappy play recently and lost against the crappiest teams like St. Louis. Well finally we get a win.

Perfect Dark Zero: Game Review
I have just recently gotten this game just after Christmas for my Xbox 360. I have yet to complete the game so far, but from what I've played it is really fun. I got pretty hooked while playing these missions. First off the graphics are excellent, good soundtrack, and if you don't like the music then just upload your favorite music onto your Xbox 360 console and place it into the game using your Xbox 360 guide. The game has good multiplayer play, up to four of your friends can play at once, not in the mood for that, then just hop on to Xbox Live. I also love the weapons and gadgets in the game. I haven't been able to connect my Xbox 360 to Xbox Live yet, but from what I've read from other reviews is that online play is the best feature of this game. Hopefully sometime soon I'll get Xbox Live. Even thought I don't have it, I really enjoyed the single player and multiplayer modes. I give this game a 4.5 out of 5.

Did anybody watch the game yesterday on Rogers Sportsnet Pacific? Yeah, there's something seriously wrong with the Vancouver Canucks! They freakin' lost against the worst team in the NHL, the St. Louis Blues. Everybody should know the saying CBC: Can't Beat Canucks Well I came up with my own thing like that, CBS: Canucks Badly Suck.

Oh well, look at yesterdays game with Ottawa and Atlanta, Atlanta sucks, yet they beat Ottawa the best team in league by a lot.

Anyways, tomorrow I will start my first review on a game. I won't mention the game or it will ruin the surprise not that anybody cares.

Moving on, today unfortunately marks the return to school for us BC kids. Should be an easy day though, today also marks the 20th Anniversity of the launch of Vancouver's SkyTrain.

Time to hit the hay, see ya'll tomorrow.

Well it's my birthday today, finally I'm 16 so you know what that means, I'm finally frickin' eligable to get my Learners License just got to take the test. Today also marks Beethoven's birthday, but nobody cares about that, I certainly don't concidering the fact that it'is my own birthday. Also today marks the nine days mark until Christmas! December 11th, 2005

Great news, last night NUMPS.ca has decided to go ahead and make a new video. The project is entitled "Burned II" that's right a sequel to the original "Burned". This video will feature Yasmir and James, this time they set off to burn something new, you get the idea. Production will begin on "Burned II" after January 2006 when it warm up a bit here in Vancouver, Canada, but hey what do I know, production might start sooner. That's about all the announcements we have for today, don't forget to check back real soon for another news update, there has already been a post for everyday since I've started, so who knows what tomorrow brings.

December 10th, 2005

Looks like I'm going to run out of bandwidth for sure now. It's already been nine days in to the month of December and I have already used up half of my bandwidth. As I mentioned in yesterdays post I made the file for The Grinch a lot smaller. In other news if you are US resident or a Canadian resident you can catch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" with Jim Carrey on Global/ABC at 8:30/7:30C tonight. That's about all the news I have for you today.

December 9th, 2005

I have compressed the size of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" I compressed it because if I didn't my site would shut down from all the traffic I would be recieving. So sorry for the lower quality video, but it's still the same Grinch you've loved and enjoyed throughout the years. The good thing about this is the video will load a lot faster, that's the one plus I can think about this compression.

December 8th, 2005

Hey how's everybody doing? Hopefully good. I have set up this little news corner so you guys can be caught up to date on what's happening with NUMPS.ca! Well the first thing we want to inform you on is the fact that our site will be re-launched on January 1st, 2006 sometime early moring like 2 o'clock am PST. The site so far features one new video, but it's short, and our brand new Blog hosted off NUMPS.ca will launch that very day as well. I would try and update the site at midnight, but you know...New Years eve so I'm not going to be wasting my time getting everything up in the New Year. Also in January 2006 we will have a Family Guy marathon features the first four episodes of season four. Hope you'll enjoy it! So long now, and enjoy How the Grinch Stole Christmas! A special NUMPS.ca presentation.
